| Sommer is a life-long resident of Milton. She graduated with Honours from the University of Windsor (Bachelor of Music Therapy, 2000) and went on to complete a Bachelor of Education at the University of Western Ontario (Primary/Junior qualifications with Early Years specialism 2001). She is an accredited Music Therapist (MTA) and has experience working with children of all ages and abilities throughout the Halton and Peel regions. Sommer is a member of the Canadian Association of Music Therapy (CAMT), the Music Therapy Association of Ontario (MTAO), the Milton Music Teacher’s Association (MMTA) and the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT). Sommer has been providing Kindermusik to the Milton Community since January of 2003. Sommer is now a proud mother of two beautiful daughters: Saffyre Merlann and Autymn Lilly. In 2008, Saffyre joined her first Kindermusik Village class when she was only 9 days old, and in 2010 at only 2 days old Autymn joined her big sister in the Kindermusik ‘Family Time’ program. Sommer is thrilled to be involved in Kindermusik not only as an experienced educator, but now also as a parent! | ||

| Andrea graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music from York University (2001) and holds an ARCT in Voice Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She went on to complete a year of graduate studies in voice performance at the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music Toronto (2003). Throughout her own music studies Andrea found herself fascinated by different early childhood music methodologies such as Orff, Kodaly, Dalcroze and Suzuki. Inspired by that fascination and having witnessed the benefits of Kindermusik in both of her niece and nephew's lives, Andrea became a licensed Kindermusik educator in 2007. Andrea has been teaching Kindermusik as well as voice and piano lessons at Harmony is since 2007. For Andrea, who has devoted much of her life to music, it is an incredible privilege to be able combine her love for children with her deep passion for music. It is an honour to have the opportunity not only to witness, but also to be involved in nurturing and fostering the growth, the appreciation, the love and the sheer joy that comes from learning music together. When Andrea is not making music at 'Harmony is' one will most likely find her singing on the opera stage or in concert halls throughout the GTA and abroad as she continues to pursue a professional career as a performer.

Colleen McCarter, BMA | |
| Colleen began her musical career in her native Scarborough as a young child. Singing and performing in an Irish folk music band from a young age, she found her love for music and all things "folk". Studying voice as a teenager, Colleen received her RCM Grade 10 level accreditation before following her voice to a degree in music. A graduate of the University of Windsor, Colleen studied Music Therapy and voice while working with clients in palliative care and both children and adults who have special needs. She holds her degree in Musical Arts. A newcomer to Milton, Colleen lives and works here with her husband Luke and son Kellan. She teaches private voice lessons and is a member of the Milton Music Teachers Association. She is excited to join the 'Harmony is' teaching team, and to continue sharing her love of music as a Kindermusik Educator. | ||
